For my veggies
It's that time of year when the summer plants go ALL OUT in one last push before the frost. So even though we might not expect it, chefs become the recipients of a flush or peppers, tomatoes, and basil.
This week, that means you can expect a nice veggie lasagna with roasted cherry tomato sauce, and an extra-herby pesto. We’re talkin’ basil, and spicy greens, and parsley and a little rosemary and thyme. Lots of citrus. Melty cheese. Obviously.
You can also expect a lot of herbs in the salad this week. We've got black soybeans from Dayspring farm (for a nice base of protein and fiber), mint, basil, and cilantro, cumin-roasted pumpkin seeds and lil' moo a fresh cows milk cheese from Sweetgrass Dairy in Thomasville GA. plus radishes and the usual assortment of, veggies.
And it's not up yet, so there's still time to reply to the form, but expect an email THIS WEEK about Thanksgiving sides. If you aren’t on the email list, you should be, sign up at the bottom of this page.
